3. Case study: One Article, Many Media Sources
A Joomla Article is a useful example because a single article can use media in several different ways:
- Intro Image
- Full Article Image
- Article Links that point to images or documents
- Images and other media embedded in the article content
An Analyzer needs to recognize all of the places that matter. Media Audit Pro can then understand those files as belonging to the same article, even though Joomla stores the links to them in different fields and formats.
This is what Analyzers are for. You don't need to understand Joomla's internal storage format to use an Official Analyzer. It already knows where to look. When you build a Custom Analyzer, the Builder gives you the tools to identify those media sources yourself.
